Corporate Trainee Programme
As part of our effort to attract and develop talented people for careers in asset management, SKAGEN Funds has established a one-year Corporate Trainee Programme.
We are looking for candidates who are positive, curious and have a “hunger-for knowledge” personality and eager to work hard. You will not only greatly benefit for your own learning, but also be a positive contributor to SKAGEN’s mission.
The aim of the programme is to give graduate students a hands-on and accelerated introduction into global financial markets; and help the right candidate develop the skills required to become a part of SKAGEN. As a trainee you will be assigned to different projects in SKAGEN and contribute as a part of the team.
The focus of the programme the first eight months will revolve around our investment activities. The following modules will focus on our client advisory activities and important support functions.
Some of your tasks within the investment activities module will involve taking part in idea generation, independent equity analysis, ESG analysis, and documentation as well as supporting the funds’ external communications.
Within the client advisory and support modules, you may be exposed to servicing and advising clients, building SKAGENs brand through marketing and communication and supporting legal, financial, project and business development deliveries.
For each module a mentor within the team will be a support and resource to you. You will also be assigned a Buddy who will help with your integration into SKAGEN culture.

We would expect candidates to hold a Master’s degree with strong academic credentials.
The position will be located in Stavanger, Norway. Fluency in a Scandinavian language is an advantage.
