Nordic Credit Rating was established as a financial infrastructure company by 30 Nordic banks and institutions to lower the threshold for issuers to obtain and maintain a credit rating. 

Nordic Credit Rating is registered with the European Securities Markets Authority (ESMA) and authorized to perform credit rating activities in the European Union and the EFTA countries.
